Accessibility Statement
Last updated: [CONFIRM]
Gaincraft is committed to making this website and the Gaincraft application usable by everyone, including people using assistive technology. This statement describes our current conformance honestly, including where we fall short.
Conformance status
This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Conformance status: partially conformant. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.
The Gaincraft application, including the associate coaching view and the manager scorecards, is assessed separately. Its current conformance status is [CONFIRM], and the evaluation date is [CONFIRM].
What we have implemented
Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, with a focus outline that is not removed by our styling. All navigation, forms, filters and dialogs are operable by keyboard alone.
Text contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body copy against its background, and labelled form controls with programmatically associated labels rather than placeholder-only labelling.
Reduced-motion support: where a visitor’s operating system requests reduced motion, animation and smooth scrolling are disabled rather than merely shortened.
Responsive layouts that remain usable at 320px width and at 200 percent zoom without loss of content.
Known limitations
Data tables in the sample scorecard and research figures scroll horizontally on small screens, and their content is conveyed visually as bar length in addition to a numeric value. A screen-reader user receives the numbers but not the comparative shape.
The multi-select control for states of operation on our forms is a custom component. It is keyboard operable but does not yet announce selection changes as fully as a native control would.
Documents sent in response to a gated request are PDFs and are not yet fully tagged for screen readers.
Third-party embeds and any future video content may not carry captions or transcripts at publication. Where a video is published without captions, captions will follow within [CONFIRM].
Assessment approach
Self-evaluation by our own team, using keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, automated checks and screen reader spot-checks. We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit; when we do, its date and findings will be recorded here rather than summarised favourably.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you cannot access something on this site, or need a document in an alternative format, write to accessibility@gaincraft.com. We aim to acknowledge within one business day and to provide the content in an accessible format or by another means, such as reading it to you on a call, while the underlying issue is fixed.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, say so in reply and it will be escalated to the founding team rather than closed.
Accessibility on the store floor
Our capture hardware carries a visible indicator, which is a visual signal. Where a store serves customers who may not perceive it, the printed notice and the scripted verbal disclosure in the greeting carry the same information, and the counter signage is specified at a size and contrast readable at conversational distance.
